Spring Blastball - Spring 2026

Who
Girls and boys, ages 3 to 4.

What
BLASTBALL is a developmental game invented and marketed by the ATEC Athletic Training Company. It is a very simple concept utilizing the skills of baseball in a fun, fast-paced activity for young players. It’s safer and less complex than tee ball, using a soft bat and ball.

Players are placed on teams by school zone. Teams are coached by background-checked volunteers and practice once per week and play one game per week - ten total for the Fall season. Scores are not kept, and every player gets a participation trophy at the end of the season.

When
Our Spring 2026 season begins with preseason practices on or around February 15. The regular season schedule starts with games on or around March 7 and finishes after a postseason tournament on or around June 13. Games are played primarily on Saturdays with some on weeknights. Practices are usually Monday - Thursday evenings.

Where
We play games and practice at City of Frisco parks on fields managed and maintained by Frisco Parks and Recreation - BF Phillips Park and Warren Park.

Cost
Our registration fee is $80 and includes the cost of a hat and jersey for each player. Players that do not live in Frisco or attend an FISD school will be charged a $20 non-resident fee in addition to the regular registration fee.

Spring Rec Softball - Spring 2026

Who
Softball players of all skill levels, beginners and experienced players, ages 5 to 15. Softball Age Determination Chart

What
Players are split into divisions by age and then placed on teams by school zone and parent requests where possible. We’ll keep teams together from season to season when the coach and at least four players return. Teams are coached by background-checked volunteers and practice once per week and play one-two games per week - twelve total for the season.

When
Our Spring 2026 regular season games in early March and the season finishes after a postseason tournament in early June. Games are played primarily on weeknights with some on Saturdays. Practices are usually Monday - Thursday evenings.

Where
We play games and practice at City of Frisco parks on fields managed and maintained by Frisco Parks and Recreation - Warren Park and Shawnee Trail Sports Complex.

Cost
Our registration fee ranges from $100 to $180 and includes the cost of a jersey for each player. Players that do not live in Frisco or attend an FISD school will be charged a $20 non-resident fee in addition to the regular registration fee.

Spring Select Baseball - Spring 2026

Who
Competitive, Select Baseball teams, ages 7U to 14U. Baseball Age Determination Chart

What
Competitive league play with one-two games per week, played on weeknights. Our Spring regular season is ten games and each team is guaranteed two additional games in our postseason tournament. Teams from outside of Frisco are allowed, but do not have access to fields for practices - games only.

When

How to Register
Coaches/managers must first register their team, then add players to the roster (min 10, max 13). Parents will receive an email invitation with a unique link to register their player and pay the registration fee. Note: players may not be rostered on more than one team playing in an FBSA league.
